Every street in town is separated by elaborate parkways. It really is a beautiful and picturesque town.

The Aiken Steeplechase is a big deal and so are their horses. It's peculiar to drive by some of the mansions in town and see horses grazing in the front yard. Here is their Hall of Fame and tributes to some horses (a few of the many littered around town). The horse statues remind me of the Chicago cows a few years ago.

Georgia is known for peaches, but I saw endless peach groves along Route 121 in South Carolina.
